A few weeks back, I was contact by the folks over at Yoplait to try out their Nonfat Greek Yogurt and review the product. I love Greek Yogurt, so I was happy to oblige, as I use yogurt in many recipes and had never yet tried Yoplait’s Greek Yogurt.
So, after picking up some of the yogurt, I headed into the kitchen last night to try out their Greek Turkey Burger Recipe with Homemade Tzatziki sauce. I’m a big fan of burgers and of Greek food, so I was excited to combine the two.
I made a few alterations to the recipe in order to make it more diet friendly, and I have to say, these low calorie turkey burgers turned out so yummy!! The feta cheese and homemade Tzatziki sauce really added a nice flavor, while still keeping it low in points.
Each burger, with bun and sauce, came out to just 4 points each. While I didn't find the Yoplait Greek Yogurt better or much different than other non fat Greek yogurts I've used, their Greek Turkey Burger is definitely a hit and something that the whole family would enjoy.

Absolutely love this recipe. I love Tzatziki; To Marissa_girard I think you are using the old points and not points plus to calculate.

This bread alone is 3 points and plain ground 93 percent turkey is 3 points for 4 ounces. This does not include the feta cheese or yogurt sauce. Realistically it is a aprox a 6 point+ recipe

Very delicious. I didn't put the garlic in the sauce, and it was perfect.

I wanted to love this recipe. I was so excited to make it. The burgers themselves weren't that bad but the yogurt sauce was awful. You really have to like the taste of raw garlic to like this recipe for Tzatziki sauce. I even added one clove instead of two and it was still overwhelming. The red onion made it worse. It was just too many strong flavors together. Maybe I should have omitted the garlic and used less onion in the sauce? I could have also left the garlic out of the sauce and added it to the burger mixture. That way those of us that like a more subtle garlic flavor can still get our fix. I have to say I do love this website though – there are so many creative meal ideas.
